Used to have the Maximal 3 CM that used to come with the older versions of Computer Music Magazine, they discontinued the magazine right after changing the plugins collection, and i lost the files of the old ones, is there someonne here who have it?

Yeah, but i can't download, when i click on the button it just open another tab with the same page, I think the download servers are down...

 

I've seen these before. You get a link to a text file and inside it has the url to download it from the actual vendor of whatever software.
For this it is down or altered url, since they updated it to 3.0.x versions later on. You can put the original URL into the Archive.org Wayback machine. The server isn't down, but they may have removed the files from 6 years ago.

Is there some reason you are trying to get the CM free version of it, when there are full releases from R2R?

 

My Idea is to use Anything I can get for free or realy cheap, like less than 5 bucks to make music (brazil bro, things are really chaotic here), and I really don't want to use pirated ones too, and these days with the amount of free software, you can really produce professional results with just free plugins, and one of the few things I felt it was missing was a good limiter, But Righ after I did the last coment I found Acon Digital Was offering it's limiter for free, so never mind...

You certainly can. A lot of the times people are asking for old versions of software, it is because they have old projects they want to open with the original settings.

Try the TDR plugins.

FileSilo downloads a .rtf file that is basically a text file. For some reason they all download "locked" and look corrupted, but all you have to do is Right click > Properties > Unlock > Apply, and then you'll be able to open any .rtf from their FileSilo

 

Yes, except that Venomode has apparently removed the files from their server. That's why I told him to check old snapshots using Wayback Machine. Sometimes that works. It also works to go up the folder tree on the server sometimes, by deleting last sections of the URL. Sometimes you will even get lucky and find a directory with no index page in the folder.

You may even notice that they have links to later minor version updates of their manuals. You can even then try changing the filenames a little predictively.

Many of the CM plugins that were to be left available indefinitely are in the larger free software suites they used to post. This is also a good example of why using "free software" has a drawback to it. People assume it will be online forever, and use these things in projects they want to open again someday with their plugins in their saved state. However, almost no-one archives free software. You could find 10 different versions via R2R releases inside a minute. Of course, the odds are good they will work better than the developers' free versions, but that is neither here nor there.

Yeah I was looking for a "Loudness Maximiser" limiter, cause I was in doubt that my hearing was wrong or it was just a fancy name for "Normal Limiter" witch i questioned some people in BPB chat and they confirmed my thougts... and yeah I know Limiter6 but i find it a bit confusing with so many options...

For now I Think I'm good with I have...

I use Tracktion Waveform Daw, Kilokeartz free collection to fill the gaps and a few more advanced ones...

The TDR stuff is really good. Limiter 6 may seem confusing, but all you need to know is just to tap each stage. Hit it so the compressor, clipper, limiter are all doing a bit of work. Adjust the HF limiter to taste if needed.

You should also check out Air Windows stuff if you are not familiar already.

Here is the download for his "Consolidated" plugin, which is one plugin with all of his releases, probably 200 or so. Many of his plugins are really really good. Many unique ones as well. He's probably the nerdiest dude i know of in the plugin space, and it shows in his releases. Definitely check them out. Spend a day going through every plugin withing Consolidated and mark you favorites.
