*Post Fixed/Finished* Need Help going from paid Studio One Plus to non-paid and Sphere Manager

    Hey guys so sorry this was never supposed to be posted I wasnt finished typing and had to go to work. Idk how it posted i think my cat walked on keyboard lol. I also usually fix my rambling and get to the point after a few proof reads before posting anything sorry Im extremely adhd.

    My Presonus Studio One+ subscription is done with.

    Today I installed sphere manager and ran through everything as directed in readme but then launched Studio One and its not working. It says "to Authorize this computer for the use of Studio One, please select your version and activate it below" in a popup box.

    I had this happen before years ago and had to delete some kind of license file then it worked but I forgot what the file was or where it was stored. I checked AppData and other places but couldn't recognize what file it was if there was one.

    Does anyone know what im talking about or can help?

    Now that your post is fixed: Maybe the license file is in "C:\ProgramData\PreSonus"? Are you a windows user?

    The contents I see in ProgramData is as follows

    I see no license type file or anything related or recognizable that would be related to any kind of license. Same for AppData Roaming AND Local.

    AppData\Roaming\Presonus\Studio One 7\


    is just a bunch of .settings files mostly

    and AppData\Local\.. doesnt even have a Presonus folder.

    **Just to note as well, I used software successfully on the last day of my subscription just Wednesday of this week 2026/02/11
