Just another tool for people who want to cosplay as a musician/whatever and don't want to go through the work of learning how to actually be one.

its great. I bought it pretty much at launch, and they are doing great at rolling new features out. They also just announced a partnership with EastWest, which is interesting to say the least.

 

In the video the generated audio is drowned in reverb. Can you disable that so I can add my own effects?

I just finished watching this video and wanted to post a new thread but you were faster apparently. lol

Basically, no doubt that it's an amazing technology but how useful is it really?
It's obvious that this tool could replace a good human composer but do we really want / need that?

As a learning tool, it might (I emphasize 'might') be useful but otherwise it means that any dumbo could be the next Mozart: Is it really what we want?

Nonetheless, Kudos to the developers as it's certainly a technical accomplishment.

In the YouTube video comments, someone summarized it quite well:
"This is like dinosaurs watching the asteroid come in and being impressed by how pretty it is"

Can't you do this with Midiagent? And stay on your daw?
