Minimum MacOS is 14?? This is most unfortunate. I am on 12 but will try it anyway :dunno:

using it with my DT700 Pro X so I'm using the advanced calibration where you type in your serial number...

I've been trying to ween myself off of Sonarworks because I felt it can get in the way a lot of the time too,
so I was hesitant to try this out - but first impression is that this sounds awesome. A lot more natural than the SoundID profile,
actually "flat". Listening to some mastered instrumentals and you instantly miss it when you turn it off
(which is usually the case with these programs), but this feels different. super clean, super flat and musical sound.
Will see how this holds up in day-to-day studio use.

oh and a quick edit, only testing out the calibration at the moment - while the "loudspeaker emulation" sounds promising and seems to do it's job, I'm usually not a fan of those kinds of tools...

Would be interesting having a SoundID vs HEADPHONE LAB comparation. So comments like this are really valuable

I honestly liked the Headphone Lab, it really improves the sound without sounding over the top or artificial. Even the maximum room setting doesn't drench the mix on reverb, instead it just adds a more perceivable early reflection sound. So yeah, it's new so I need to test it further on real world production/mixing, but so far I'm pretty happy with the improvements, and even happier it was free, pretty cool from Beyerdynamic btw.

Thanks a lot for this comment.
I also have the DT700ProX. I cannot use them without treatment, because the highs are too pregnant and harsh.
After 30 minutes my ears are "bleeding"

So i researched a lot and ended with the Harman Courve in Pro-Q and CanOpener on the Master.
Can make music for hours now.

I give this tool a try.

    EDIT:
    Not for me.
    Everything sounds super flat.
Sure, maybe the tool is made exactly for this purpose.
But i cannot enjoy music anymore ^^

I stay with my Harman Courve and Can Opener.
More transparent and clean to me.

Software is free and you can enter your Headphones serial number.
Plugin worked fine as VST in DAW and systemwide with Soundsource on mac

I also don't really like the correction on my DT990 PRO and agree with the comment above - the sound is too flat and boring. I might keep it only as a loudspeaker/room emulation.
