I am unfortunately still running into this issue, will continue to troubleshoot

 

When I encounter that problem I just let the KLU give me a new SNPID for the library and boom, it's solved. Great software.

 

Me too!! Thanxxx Very Many!! I try that so many times but never thought of going deeper inside the Contents folder!! Service Center has nothing to do with it...

sudo /Applications/Kontakt\ Library\ Utility.app/Contents/MacOS/Kontakt\ Library\ Utility

Is now saved as one of the Kontakt life saver terminal commands!!!

 

what is the right way to install an update to a kontakt library? Do i just need to add the library using KLU or is there another step that needs to be done

 

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so be patient please..

I installed kontakt 8.7.2 (Hciso) on my MacBook (intel), I'm trying to install libraries with KLU, it seems the everything is fine but when I open kontakt no library appears. Any suggestions? Along with the kontakt installer I downloaded a folder named "Kontakt library tools" with many files in (beyond Klu) like "kontakt library scripts" "kontakt library utile" , a folder called "ad library for Mac OS" and so on... I'm I missing something? should I install something else than Kontakt and Klu or do something?

Hi Fred Bloggs, thank you very much for your work on KLU. I have Kontakt 8.1 with KLU 2.4 on Mac Tahoe.
I'm having a problem when I try to replace a library with a newer version. I uninstall the old version, install the new one, and when I open Kontakt 8, the library appears in the list but without the nks files: it can't find the files, it looks for them in the wrong folder. The same thing happens when I tried to move some libraries to my internal SSD. Both the "relink to this folder" function and uninstalling and reinstalling don't work, and I get the same error as before. Is there a way to completely uninstall a library so that when I reinstall it in another location, Kontakt doesn't look for the files in the old folder? Thanks a lot.

When I try to add a library, the xml file is being generated, but not the plist file. Can you please help me with it ??
