    Please help me out.

Which setting do I need to change if I want Cubase not to stop playback when I change something, move or remove something? Cubase even interrupts playback when bypassing a plugin.

Cubase does not currently offer a “gapless” audio engine option you can switch on, so there is no single preference that will stop those brief dropouts when you add/move/remove events or bypass many plug‑ins during playback.

What you can do in practice: Minimize “big” changes (adding tracks, loading heavy instruments, inserting new plug‑ins) while audio is playing; make those edits with playback stopped to avoid audible gaps.

You might be able to get rid of some of them if you get a really absurdly fast computer but most of them its just not going to happen. Turning your sample buffer up and Casio guard on high will help a little but you'll get more latency as well then. Its a lose lose game sorry fella.

gpt says Preferences → Transport → Allow Editing during Playback. make sure this is set to on.

Preferences → VST → Plug-ins → Suspend VST3 Plug-in Processing when no audio signals are received. Turn that off.

See if this works, I don't have it installed. This is not to fix buffer, or other performance behavior related playback stops. It's for incorrect settings, not poor performance computer.
