Because adding them would not be accurate to original units? I think it is a great combination of options. You want flexible and transparent? DMG. "realism" and some flavor? UA. It's like a decision making accelerator. The other features are just basic routing, so they probably are not adding workflow shortcuts like other developers who have to "add new features" to try saying they made a better 1176. Just a guess

It doesn't matter which plugin you use, what matters is whether you're satisfied with the result or not.

I'm going to be really honest after the demos i did with the Native plugins: they sound good, but they are not the best 'analog sounding' plugins IMO. For sound vs CPU expense they are great. They sound like PA for me, and i love PA plugins. But i couldn't find a plugin that made my jaw fall or would worth the penny for replacing the ones i actually love.

There are some interesting tools that grabbed my attention BTW. But they were all dependant on UA Hardware to work, no Native version.

Another cool point is the fact that they are flexible and it's very hard to screw up a sound with their emulations, while with other plugins you gotta be more picky on the chaining process. That's the real win for me. If you don't like A/B testing, trying out different devs and plugins and wanna relly on UAD for that task of emulating HW, you will very likely get your job done without headache and with great sound. They are powerful workhorses.

But for hardware sound ITB i still got my preferences and i'm better not listing them because the taste factor and workflow plays a role here, and it's not worth proving my point at all.

didn't work for me! stuck after i complete the form, clicking on "continue" button won't do shit! wtf ?

 

For me, it works when I turn off Ublock in Firefox. Or open the UAD connector software.

 

The form that doesn't let you choose many options like record vocals, record midi but once you've selected any then button should light up to continue, if still not working try different browser without any ad blockers.. once finished it asks you to download UA- Connect but if you already have it just open it and then it will be there at the top to redeem, download and install.

 

disabling uBlock origin on Firefox worked for me! ... and you really have to get past that "CONTINUE" button, if not - no UA 610 will ever appear in UA Connect as "REDEEM" !
