Oh yes, another incredible Amiga game. I remember waiting for the diskette to load the next fighter. That wasn't so incredible

Speaking of martial arts games in C64, "the way of the exploding fist" 1st and 2nd (3rd?) were the shit back then

Oh yah, CLASSIC Van Damme :) That game probably was inspired by Bloodsport and other 80s/90s martial arts cheeze a bit!

lol Not to make this a jcvd thread, but in the late 80s this movie was already on free to air tv... if it did hit the theatre where I was, it barely played there. I first saw it on vhs though, along with all the other martial art films i used to borrow from the video library.

"That" scene when he tries to go emotional and cool but instead looks he's having a heart attack while high on cocaine...:rofl:
The biggest scandal ever in the Oscar Awards: not winning the best actor.
Okay, Warren Beatty would be on the conversation too...

Edited: Hmmm... perhaps Will Smith too

A detailed review from Modern Vintage Gamer (a great channel for retro gaming/computing/emulation, by the way!):

Looks like they've done a very impressive job, now I kind of want one...

Cut my teeth on the Commodore VIC20. I learned basic and later 6502 assembly on it. Those were the days, converting the hex assembly commands into decimal so you could "POKE" them into memory and execute them. Kids developing these days don't know how easy they've got it, haha.

i too got my start on the vic-20.. i had to be about 9 years old. i remember being obsessed with GORF on it.. I learned BASIC by reading Compute's Gazette magazines on that and a Commodore 64.. and later a Commodore 128. My dad was really into Commodore computers in the 80s and just gave me the one's he wasn't using anymore. The good ole days!

I remember breaking my brains as a little kid trying to implement a sprite in my C64 following an article in Commodore Magazine. Later Amiga Magazine
Edited: oh, and probably using the famous C64 super-manual too :)
