Is there a VST Synth where you can just do everything by hand? Draw/Edit a waveform/sample, envelope, modulation, panning etc. by hand like in MS Paint and play it like instrument or sampler?

There's actually thing just called Freehand as well as Wavedraw by Angular Momentum (AM VST) that's explicitly that, but it's a defunct company. It's on sister site, but it might only be 32 bit.

And I think is what you want for oscillators, but you're probably going to be hard press to find something like that that's free hand for Oscillators AND LFOs, I want to say that there is something like it that I just can remember, but most LFOs are curves.

Vital can paint waveforms/wavetables, harmonics, filters, phaser, flanger, modulation. The resolution is 32x24. Waveforms/wavetables are 16x16 per keyframe. Points that you draw are manually or automatically interpolated depending on type and setting. I guess you can kind of double resolution if you use the modulation remapping matrix. Can't really draw envelopes though.

 

It's been so long since I've used it (going to revisit) but wouldn't Linplug's Spectral qualify as this. Drawable OSC, Drawable filter types, Drawable LFOS (I think)

 

Yeah, it's like step sequencer style, Octopus lets you do it for some of them as well. It's the Osc. and Filter in Spectral in Octopus it's Osc Amplitude and Phase.
