Do you know of a guitar VST, Kontakt Bank, Nexus, Zenology, or whatever that comes very close to this guitar sound?
I have determined that the guitar sound is very similar to that of I Need a Girl Part 2.
Which guitar VST or whatever would be suitable? Best regards

Did you make the beat in the Vocaroo track yourself?

No, it's not my beat, otherwise I wouldn't be asking if anyone knows a preset or VST that sounds like this.

VOV Bridge mute.jpg I'll tell you exactly how to get that type of tone, regardless of WTF was used on that recording, In the 60's some guitars had soft rubber mutes that dampened the strings under the bridge and could be engaged at the touch of a little lever on the bridge or with a knurled screw I had a VOX Phantom VI but several other VOX models, EKO, Hagstrom, Framus, TEISCO and PYRAMID guitars had some models with this it, Gretsch also had one, if you put it on, it would sound a bit like a banjo, a bit looser using your palm slightly muting the strings from above would get you this type of sound that you are looking for, it was used on some early 60's psychedelic recordings by groups, some other musicians used it to simulate the banjo tone on Mrs. Brown You've got a Lovely Daughter by Herman's Hermits, nonetheless experiment with a piece of sponge under the bridge strings. Have fun experimenting, if you don't play guitar then get a friend do this for you. Use the bridge pickup with it's volume lowered a bit, using both sponge and palm till it resembles this sound.
