~ Dancy-Dancy Bird People ~

The dancy-dancies remind me of bird mating dances. It is perhaps no accident that the song is Amore...

The song is in between a Like and Intertesting. Since it's a 'teaser', I decided to rate it an Interesting until the final comes online.

I once was unlocking my bike from a signage pole downtown when a car pulled up behind the cars waiting at the red light. It had music with a danceable rhythm blaring loud out of its window very near my head, so I decided at the spur of the moment, in a kind of 'performance-art parody/satire' frame of mind, to dance to it, in the dumbest dancing I could come up with.

It's hard to explain, but I call it my 'gay little teapot dance'. What you do is put your arms/hands together into a spout shape (kind of like a praying mantis' arms too I guess) and dip it/them down like it's being poured, take it back up, turn your body a little to the right or left and do the same thing again. Repeat left and right twists with the spout dips. Fucking stupid and funny-looking at the same time, which was part of the point. Probably guaranteed to crack any young woman up at the very least while maybe insulting the 'mobile DJ' in the other car, which, admittedly, was also part of the point.

The woman passenger in the pickup truck, two cars back found it a riot, while her male driver-companion was smiling while maybe shaking his head a bit at the same time.

Some time before that, on the city bus, just before getting off at my stop, I overheard a young woman talking about how a man who doesn't dance is not worth her time or something like that. So as I was getting off, I told her that a lot of women look kind of stupid when they dance and that dancing is kind of pointless for some people. Strangely enough, she didn't seem to take it too well. One would have thought she'd have embraced the concepts with open arms.
