    Hi there,

What type of guitar is used in the following track?

The guitar starts playing at 2.08.

Would you possibly recommend a kontakt library or VSti ?

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like a kantele, psaltery, zither, dulcimer or some such to me (they all sound very, very similar).

not a guitar sound!, definitely some synth sample based plucked instrument. - Noticed how it is difficult to find that instrument sound you have in mind that you really need vs browsing through a ton of useless sound presets and goof at how "cool" they all sound?

Sounds like an electric guitar with strong delay FX (dotted eighth note as delay).

It sounds like a nylon string guitar sample. UJAM Amber has a bunch of effects/delay presets that sound just like this.

It definitely is a guitar, I had that identical sound many years ago when I was experimenting,I was using a Boss Bass Chorus, Boss Flanger, Boss Exciter. Boss DC-3 Digital Dimension and Boss Digital Delay and Boss DS-1 into a Boss TM-7 Guitar monitor Amp simulator on settings that I had to make charts so I could reproduce it for a recording session of a local band using a different unique sound for 4 solos on their songs. I had so many BOSS IBANEZ, ARION and other effects pedals and mini rack effects I still have most of them, a few small BOSS pedals magically disappeared during travels and shows, but that was over 25 years ago. Experimentation is the name of the game, chaining pedals together in series can create some really unique sounds, the guitar is unimportant I used Gibson and Fender but when a guitar goes through so many effects it makes no difference what type of guitar you use. There is magic in those little pedals, I don't think it is possible using so many VST FX you'd lose yourself on a laptop or PC screen, just too small to see and adjust everything at once.
Just experiment, have fun doing it and good luck
