The Black Dog was a very formative influence for me. Odd, I'd never figure I'd have some sort of special Christmas music, but I think I will now after blasting TBD non-stop to illuminate the darkest season and heavy news.

Sad news - a huge influence on me - got the "virtual ep" and "age of slack" when they were released - I still play them often.

 

I am not familiar with much of his later work as i preferred BDP when Ed and Andy(Plaid)were involved in the Project. Spanners and Bytes are 2 my all time favourite albums, but this sucks nonetheless

RIP Ken.
Also British musician Chris Rea Has passed away peacefully in hospital earlier today at the age of 74.
He will be always remembered for his holiday classic ‘Driving Home for Christmas’.

Someone had given me a warp demo cassette with aphex twin side a (he was just about to release I care because you do) and Black Dog on the flip, about to release scanners. was very much in love at the time and we played that tape religiously around ours <3 rest in peace Ken, thank you.
