This might as well be my first post on this forum :)

I remember seeing this post and genuinely feeling let down that op never released this:
    https://audiosex.pro/threads/audioz-downloader-real-debird-python-win.76184/

So.. I might as well write one myself and this time actually releasing it for everyone to use, fully open source python script (imagine using python in 2025, am i right....), I am working on this on my free time so don't expect it to get released this early, I'd still like to do more finishing touches and then release it to public :p

    Current state:
Parses the audioz forum with the user cookie (required for the download link to even appear in the first place) audioz people - please let us keep doing this or make an actual api for stuff like this!!! please and thank you
Uses RealDebrid API to unrestrict the file hosters and download it.
Using PyQt6 for the GUI, it just works :p (Took inspiration from our beloved qBitTorrent)
    Support for multi-parted downloads.
Automatically retries and resumes, if you happen to lose connection for whatever reason. (wow, i really think about other people)
Automatically extract the files and "clean them up", if needed.

Once I do think its ready for release, I'll post it on github and reply to this thread!!
I hope it'll be a great christmas gift from me to all musicians and worth the post <3

Since I ran out of real-debrid, I'm unable to test it further but I'll be pushing it to github tomorrow! Should be stable enough

Where are we supposed to run the "pip install -r requirements.txt" command?

(This is what I hate about Github - you're expected to have a PhD in computer science to know how anything works. The average person expects 'desktop tool' to mean there's an exe file or some sort of GUI)

I managed to fix it :) The next problem is that when I use a VPN, I can no longer access it. Search failed: 403 Client Error: Forbidden for url: https://audioz.download/

Would this still require a subscription for anything?

GitHub: “You must have a Real-Debrid premium account to access most of the API features.”
I’m not entirely sure what this project is for? Why not just use the real debrid website?

I don’t need to pay for the latter account, right? Just need to sign up? For some reason I tried signing up at the “museum” a while ago but it wasn’t working, maybe it will now so I can comment on any new catalog items there

You can use JDownloader with your RealDebrid premium account, so you are right. The way Jdownloader's clipboard monitor works is outstanding, especially on sites with old links but multiple hosting options, bypasses captcha on sites and even downloads from just getting the link from peeplink pages on some hosts.

How’s it going to get past the peeplink captcha? Presumably it can’t? So you’re still going to be copying and pasting a long list of links. Seems like a lot of effort coding this for not a tremendous amount of gain.

You mean in Jdownloader? On sites where it works, you highlight the links on the peeklink pages and do control+c to copy the links. Those links hit the clipboard monitor and you never even see the rapidgator page or a captcha at all. Using Jdownloader is one of the best reasons to get a debrid account.
