That's far from the truth. The development tools may make things a bit quicker, but there is no shortcut to the analyzing and cracking part. You need enormous knowledge of a dozen of different things and persistence.

tools actually changed in time but by teams themself and they did customize those tools and make it more efficient for their work and needs.

I can assure you that I have wasted enough time with debuggers and assembly to comment on it. The point is that the tools are more or less the same all the years. R2R isn't having some cool magical tool to find analysis and crack the protection. You still need a debugger to analyze and it still does the same thing it did years ago. Meanwhile the security has went from a simple Yes/No Boolean check to extreme encryptions.

The thing is that R2R stuck around and evolved with all the protection developments. It's their knowledge, not the tools.

Yes. I guess we don't appreciate R2R's efforts enough. It's not magic, it's their hard work.

But everyone knows the difference between buying and getting something for free! R2R is like Robin Hood: taking from the rich and giving to the poor. R2R also says, "Support the creators you value and deserve if you have money."

Since money is unfairly distributed on this planet, many workers and artists benefit from teams like R2R.
Sometimes they even earn their living with cracked software.

There are always some people who don't appreciate R2R. You won't convince them in this forum, but they are still our fellow human beings, whether we like them or not; we have to get along with them.

R2R is an extraordinary global phenomenon, and has millions and millions of fans around the world. I think there's no doubt they're the greatest Team of all time, due to their extraordinary ability to master the most insurmountable protections, their incredible consistency (over 15,000 releases), and their enormous intellectual capacity. Of course, there will always be someone who might not appreciate it, or is a fan of other teams. You can't please everyone in a world of billions.

Go ahead, try saying that to their face. You’ll turn into a mouse in two seconds. Magic is apparently more challenging than your debuggers and disassemblers, which anyone may learn given sufficient time.

VSL is a rouse IMO due to the sheer enormity and granularity of the stuff - makes it impractical to use. I have only bothered with the 2 full ensemble special editions thus far and don't plan on doing much else with any of the rest of it. Doesn't mean it's invalid in any way, just not my cup of tea. Doesn't make R2R any less awesome for providing the tools either.
