Ok so I've never had this issue before, I installed alot of R2R and VR banks and my Analog Lab is legit by the way. I'm having an issue where it's not finding the sounds where they should be installed. I was reading online and your default directory is C://ProgramData/Arturia/Presets correct? Somehow I have a Samples folder and a Presets folder. I don't know how they got into different folders maybe through updates? Should I move everything back to the Presets folder?

 

Another user has the same problem; he suspects that R2R isn't doing its job properly.
Perhaps they should uninstall it and try an older version. That's all I can say for now.

Hmm that's odd. I know we can't mention warez here I try to not to walk that line but maybe the you have to pick one version only they don't overlap perhaps

 

I'm just going to uninstall everthing Arturia and reinstall it all

 

Just for info, this is how the "C:\ProgramData\Arturia\" folder looks.
You can see all the instrument folders, and then there are separate folders for Presets,Samples & Shared I have highlighted.

 

Thanks, yea I kind of figured it out when I saw the samples download on sister site, then sound banks. I thought it would intalled the samples and presets together but apparently it didn't

 

The best thing to do is revert to the version that works and wait for an update that fixes the bug.

You are not allowed to ask about warez, nor are you allowed to post links to warez.
What you are allowed to do is ask how to install a particular version. Installation instructions are also permitted.

 

The R2R release of 2025.12.19 has some things worth noting:
Regarding "Samples" The samples are the same as in the VR Collections - only a few Augmented have slight size differences. I doubt it is any problem.

As for presets, using "Free File Sync" to compare, the presets in this which are in VR Collection under different folder names:
1) This has preset folder "Acid 3 V". I don't know if that is misnamed, but in VR release the same "Arcane Realm" banks is in the "...\Acid V\Factory\" folder. Assuming it was the old name for Acid V. (?)

2) "OB-Xa V" is the old name for the "OP-Xa V" (I read some complaints about the renaming causing people to lose presets - perhaps having this folder will help them..or perhaps presets should be moved (?) I do not know. I have yet to try. If they are the same presets of course, they add nothing.

3) (As noted in other places) This has improper name ("SQ-80 V") instead of the proper "SQ80 V", so you should move the 2 banks to the proper folder.

Presets NOT in the VR Collection:
This has "PolyBrute Connect" & "PolyBrute Editor" presets for the hardware synth. (And the list of *.json files seems to be for those banks. I don't know if they are of any use.

That seems to be it.
If simply overwriting, it creates a bit of mess. If you've done that, I hope this helps you.

Added info for the R2R Samples from 2025.12.18
I found, using Free File Sync, that the content NOT in the VR collections is all in the "Pure LoFi" folder. It has a different folder structure than what i have from the most recent VR installs.
I am using VR, and If I have a problem with missing samples there, I will try adding them in.

There are also samples that are different in size, mostly in the "Augmented" stuff. but i doubt any important difference.
