Loved Predator Badlands! Elle Fanning (well half of her) is terrrific.


I really disliked Tron Ares. The music was pretty good though. It was all FX and no substance. I won't be watching any sequels.

David Thewlis is one of my favourite actors. He was amazing as V.M. Vargo in Fargo (season 3).

The character in my avatar is Mickey Michaels from the BBC series League Of Gentlemen. Played by Mark Gatiss (Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game Of Thrones, Wolf Hall).

 

I liked this a lot. True story.
Great cast. Although un-credited, Warwick Davis has been Oscar nominated for playing the part of Jude Law's naked cock and balls. Hang around for the credits as it shows old 8mm film of the actual people on the island in the 1930's.

I've been waiting for this sequel since I watched the first Sisu movie. It didn't disappoint!
Tongue in cheek, black humour, ultra violent, incredible action.
You should watch Sisu before watching Sisu - Road To Revenge.

I watched the 2 Sisu movies, great non stop action, impossible stunts but fun to watch. Best 2 Finnish movies I've seen usually their movies are extremely boring with unbelievably bad acting and storylines and end up hitting delete after a few minutes.

 

Just watched Blue Moon and I'm sure Ethan Hawke will definitely get a nod for an Oscar for his worthy performance. It was sad and for that reason hard to watch, but it's a smart, biting and humorous though self depreciating in nearly every sentence of Hawke's near total soliloquy during the film in which he is playing the brilliant wordsmith Lorenz Hart of the famous musical team Rogers and Hart.

The trailer sucks hugely and after watching the film can honestly say that it bears no resemblance to the movie itself...which is extremely odd.

I'm usually up on new flics, but this one managed to walk past me.

The humor is there if you can get past the depressing reality of the system of voluntary enslavement it forces you to recognize. Good thing for me, I'm already savagely out of sorts on the regular due to the way this blue & green idiot-ball operates, so any new despondency was minimal.
