I just try to figure out what happening with this option ?!????

I have structure like this

/Instruments/ ... and some nki
/samples/ ...and samples

normaly, when opening nki it says "samples missing" and when I point to folder /samples it load correctly

Now, I run "batch resave" and point to the root folder and it will finish very fast... and when I load nki there is nothing mapped inthere ?!???

I try to point only on /instruments folder, same situation... just, it won't open samples missing dialog in batch resave option at all

Does anybody know what happening ? (I remember, I use this option on K4 and it works fine)

NKI files are from K4, basicaly from older Kontakt, maybe K2 as well.

(strange, per example Albion batch resave work correctly)

 

If you open an NKI patch, and don't find the samples, they won't appear in the mapping editor. Once you have batch-resaved or even resaved the NKI patch like this, then it will overwrite the sample details to the mapping editor and won't ever appear again. You need to re-download the NKI patch.

Also: To save a lot of errors occurring (Thinking that you don't move the library folder anywhere), when you save a NKI patch, don't select "Absolute path", make sure it's unchecked...

 

I believe batch-resave & Batch-Compress is broken in 5.3.1

Right now i recommended you batch-resave & Batch-Compress with Kontakt 5.3.0.6464

Yes because All the .nki were already reference to the samples in the .ncw format, but when you do it with wave files all hell breaks loose

 

Just out of curiousity, is this bug in 5.3.1 from a mistake in the code on NI's part or the crack team's part?

Ok, until right release I just take Kontakt5.exe (x64) from the 5.3.0 installer and put it in same folder as regular Kontakt5.exe and use for batch resaving, it works.

 

Actually in 5.3.1 I have problems with CineSamples libraries, on Kontakt exit or closing patch Kontakt crashes.
In 5.3.0 there is no errors.
