Just to be clear, a forum member is giving away their work for free?

To some people, even if the sounds or music, or soundsets were not what I wanted, or not up to what I believe I would use, I still say that is kindness to donate your time no matter who you are and give away your hard work, whether I like it or not.
To crap on anyone who gives their work away for free and asks for nothing is pretty shitty just because you may not like them or what they do.

Generosity and quality are separate things, was glad a person gives patches for free but I felt genuinely perplexed when I listened to them. Given the vigorous activity here, I seriously doubt this altruism; it seems far more likely to be a way to gather social approval and farm likes. Not sure

 

In this day and age, it is difficult to know who is what, I think we all understand this. Honestly, if there are no clickbait advertisements and what you get is free, it doesn't matter does it? If you love it great, if you do not it still cost you nothing. I am not saying a person should not give constructive feedback but really, something like "Thanks for the giveaway but it's not for me" is often more than enough isn't it? Or if you know what it needs, something like "Have you thought about doing/adding/changing...?" It is possible the developer or creator might not have thought about what you suggest... we all get better then. Just an observation, if it was for social approval as you believe, I have to ask, if you truly believe that, why reply at all and just simply move onto a topic you find more interesting? Cheers.

 

because i find this intension and reasoning quite a funny if thats the case, and why not, we a free in discussing anything except politics and religious things
I strongly believe it's better to talk and express what you think than ban or report anything you don't like

Hey I am a huge advocate of freedom of speech and freedom of choice.
I also agree discourse is one of the beauties in free speech. That said, without prejudice, if any of us, including me, says and does the same thing to the same person or people continuously, it does tend to look a little bit like badgering, would you agree? I am not sure if anyone can actually use the word stalking anymore because Instagram and Facebook pretty much legitimized that with "follow" It is also as I said to pulsewave, who is actually very intelligent, that if he only uses A.I quotes all of the time, nobody knows what his own thoughts are, and what is A.I? - and to mix it up. None of these statements with either of you are personal, please understand they are only observations


P.S. - While I believe that we certainly should speak our minds, speaking for myself, in some scenarios of my distant past in some very rough gigs where I would have loved to speak my mind, if I did speak my mind then you probably wouldn't be reading this now. we do need to filter ourselves occasionally.
