Wondering if Absynth 6 can immediately recognize if you have preset banks for Absynth 5 installed and load them in its browser, and if not it can import those preset packs? Planning to delete the previous version but I want to make sure that any presets not currently in the factory library or from external banks are migrated so I can continue to use them there and save some space? I have one third party bank I know of but I think there might have been more from the Absynth 5 library that might not be part of the bank for 6… and if the solution is simple as dragging folders with presets so if there’s another pack or something it gets migrated with everything else not part of the Absynth 5 factory library?

 

Copy and paste your presets into the Absynth 6 user presets folder:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Absynth 6

Load Absynth 6, go to the menu, and use the Rescan Presets button!

 

Ok thanks! I’ll have to do a double check to make sure everything is imported and there’s no duplicates, there’s some patches that seem like external ones but are another factory bank for Absynth 5 and that’s the main thing I’m checking for if they merged it all into the legacy banks in 6
