Just wondering if somebody will have a solution to my problem.

I'm updating the Omnisphere 2 Library Images to the new Omnisphere 3 sizes. You can find the guide here:

The library_thumb.jpg image seems to work but when you open the patch browser, on the right where the patch description is, there should be a wider image that shows. I'm assuming that's where the default_xwide.jpg image should go, but isn't showing.

So I don't know what I'm doing wrong / if I'm misunderstanding something.

Is anybody able to help? Cheers.

 

The wide image in the patch description area does not use default_xwide.jpg the same way the browser thumbnail uses library_thumb.jpg, and in most cases it will not appear for converted Omnisphere 2 libraries at all unless very specific conditions are met.

The larger “header” image on the right is tied to Omnisphere 3’s new library format and internal assets, and older third‑party or user libraries generally do not auto‑map a default_xwide.jpg into that space.

I created a 300x300 image in *.jpg format using the old Omnisphere 2.

The filename is written as follows:
default
default_thumb

 

Sorry for the delayed response - been flat out wrapping up the end of the year!! Appreciate the help. Yeah, unfortunately I came to the same conclusion. I thought there may have been a workaround (guess not). Opted just having the default image. Thanks PulseWave!!
