Very nice... I'm curious which sounds are played live... The drums really sound great... Sounds like a live drummer

    Crazy! Excellent stuff.

If the guitar is a VSTi I'll eat my hat. Id like a bit more warm reverb on the vocal but thats it, great track!

What stands out here....is the Bass. I'm assuming it's actually someone playing a real bass guitar, plugged in, direct. Excellent Bass tone for the track. The foundation of any track is it's rhythm section (Drums and Bass). If you don't mind......please share some information and detail on the Abbey Roads 70's Drums and how you got that bass sound. This track had me dancing in my seat.

Bass, acoustic guitar, lead solo, drums, everything is ace! I hope the guitars are real or I else I would be hella jealous of your programming skills!

Hey wow guys you are great! glad you all liked it.

Yes im very pround of the drum sounding that real. tweaked it a lot to make it sounds like that. I used the Abbey Road 70's samples with the 4 mics setup. (like led zep did back in the days).that way I founded more efficient to only mix 4 tracks of drums. overheads sound super real so. also applied not to much compression cause the dry sound of the sample sounded pretty good. I added a distortion plugin called Decapacitor on the drum buss (just a little bit). I read somewhere that some audio proffesional when they work with fake drums, adding a bit of saturation/distortion making it more dirty help getting it more real. yes I played the bass. was DI, applied Amplitube Ampeg emu with the nice Waves PIE Compressor... also all the guitars are real and played by me (except the rythm acoustic ones played by the singer).

that is pretty much it.my first mix in awesome studio one v2.0. the workflow is so good with this. the final mastering touch was Magnetic by Nomad Factory.. Tape emu gimmick. not sure yet if its gonna be my new tool to glue things and warm/fatten up things.. I wanna buy Waves Kramer Tape. but Magnetic is great

hope that helps. il post later some other songs Im working on for this album
