As part of its Holiday Sale promotion, iZotope is offering its pro metering plugin as a free download for a limited time.

Normally $199 USD, Insight 2 helps visualize your sound, enabling smarter mix decisions. The plugin helps you get loudness right for streaming services, monitor stereo width, and make sure your dialogue is loud enough for film and tv.

I usually use adptr metric ab, but thanks anyway.

 

They are not the same tools. You can insert an instance of Izotope's Relay plugin on multiple channels and it feeds back to Insight 2, like Neutron does to the Mothership instance of it. It is multichannel, multitrack metering inside your DAW. Metric A/B cannot do this, that isn't what it is for.

 

AAX does not load in Pro Tools 12.5 so, do not download unless you want to use a wrapper which may or may not function properly.
