Omnisphere 3 library switch takes 10 seconds

    i meant offline or online, these services still run and they are annoying for high performance work like audio.

    Of course. What i meant was that i don't have them installed and running. Except Defender. I can't stop this animal from turning itself on everytime !

    Life is much nicer and faster without Defender. I haven't used Defender or any other antivirus software for years.

    I use this tool occasionally:

    I also have a complete backup of my C:/ drive so that I can completely restore my system using a recovery CD if problems arise.

    I wanted to add that you may have to change your path in the windows database via regedit if your STEAM is not on C:

    the line involved is at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Spectrasonics\DataDir2Folder and DataDirFolder

    Change the path to where your STEAM folder is located

    Moving STEAM

    1. Copy your STEAM folder from its current location to the hard drive location of your choice. (This can be another drive partition, a secondary internal drive, or an external hard drive such as an SSD or USB hard drive, etc.).
    2. Once the copy is complete, confirm that both STEAM folders (original and copy) are the same size, then delete the original STEAM folder from the default location.
    3. Open Omnisphere and you will be prompted to locate the STEAM folder.
    4. Browse and select the new STEAM folder (you might see some error messages, but close these messages and continue to the final step). The link to the new location has now been created.
    5. Close and re-open Omnisphere for the changes to take effect.

    ohh there is a regkey for that?

    i deleted the lnk file in the Spectrasonics folder opened Omnisphere and it asked me to set the library path, done and restarted plugin and it worked again for me.
