Reaper also has a very good, configurable batch converter.

 

I use Foobar 2000 for all my audio conversions. It's freeware. Converts all audio types. Easy to use.

Also if your player/device supports it, Ogg is a better lossy format than MP3.

I host my music library on Plex and I convert the FLACs I rip from Deezer to Ogg.

I also use Fre:ac it to convert my sample library from Wav to FLAC since S1 reads them just fine. lossless flac takes up 60% of space of Wav.

thanks all,just remembered the pc the music is on i want to convert is 32 bit,and apps that are 32 bit?
its no prob if not i can just transfer the songs to my other pc and do it on there

 

Ye, dBPowerAmo also has a batch converter where you can select entire folders or drives to convert everything.
It's also available as 32Bit program but sadly it's not free.

 

I'm a fanboy of dbpoweramp. Fast and convenient as fuck. And good quality too. I use it to convert Kontakt libs to 16bit to save SSD and RAM. So freaking battle tested for batch conversion. Even command-line support
But yeah, it's paidware.
