If you don't own any of the Soundtoys plugins, you should definitely get their free plugins. I did it long time ago, then I was able upgrade with a very reasonable price. Now I own all 22 plugins.

if nothing else, this is very true. besides being tremendous plugs.

 

Soundtoys stuff is great, they're sort of underwhelming at first but a lot has gone into design of them, even these "lite" versions. Highly recommended.

 

Where did you find this info? They're gonna give away the full Devil Loc plugin? That's huge...

That is SO true. If they are iLOK I won't install them.

 

I know it seems like the Devil Loc one is the full version, but their naming for it is a little bit different than the others: the little one is Devil Loc, the full one is Devil Loc Deluxe.

 

Ilok is optional, not mandatory.

 

How is it not a mandatory?

 

iLok gets you two activations through iLok manager, but you can also activate inserting the code into the plugin itself, but that only gives you a single activation.
