    7zip is giving me the exact same errors. I'll do a cleanout of my C: drive and see where that gets me.

    That's insane. The file was a .rar and not a .7z?

    Yeah, I got this error with a couple of the VSL archives. I just selected the Extract button and it extracted successfully.

    Above everything else, what's the point in compressing a VSL library? And with a huge 7GB dictionary, no less.
    They're already compressed, like Kontakt nkx files. You gain nothing.

    not sure why?
    because yes, it will take a lifetime to compress and decompress and you have maybe gained a couple of MB, which are downloaded in fractions of a second today.

    actual R2R release, yes parted rar with 7GB dictionary.

    like i wrote 7zip gave the same warning, but extracted nicely without loading the dictionary into RAM.

    I can almost physically touch your sarcasm :rofl:
    I guess they applied the same extreme compression of other releases but didn't think that with an already compressed 30GB one the result would be this clusterfuck.
    In fact makes sense, but is still annoying as hell
