Why are the 56 classic factory patches not included in the Roland Clould Juno-60 ?

Some patches are there.... but just a few.....

Is there a source for the A and B factory patches ?

Still don't get why Roland would not include them in their product.....

 

Because the best they could do would be recreations of them. It would just be something else for people to complain about the Cloud version not being as.... whatever

 

I really hope, this is not the real reason why they are not included. The whole synth is a authentic recreation of a their own hardware...

 

You can't load them as audio files into the Cloud plugin (it's not tape-based like the hardware), but you can manually enter the parameters or find SysEx/midi-compatible recreations. Here are reliable free sources:

Got any better one? Look at the manual page linked above. It's not like they would be all that complex for someone to do manually. They are locked up pretty nicely drm wise, you can only get additional patches as binary files and from them. No 3rd party files at all. They clearly did it on purpose. You can connect the plugin to a System 8 plug-out hardware version, but even those presets are not the same. They probably do not want to draw comparisons like that from people who complain about every tiny difference where they are not 1:1 emulations.
It's obviously a decision they made and there isn't much we can do but guess at the motivation.
