i'm afraid that people like Musk, Zuckerberg & such don't give a fuck about Gema or other kind of rules & law...
Take a look at "youtube" , They sat on copyright and all copyright societies, regardless of the country. They imposed their rules, their revenues,in short, they imposed their model.
    And we all use youtube.

Ultimately, the rule of law prevails. The other side has a lot of money and the best lawyers, but sometimes even they have to bow to the rule of law. These are all monopolies; the only thing that can help is a YouTube alternative, but that won't be able to prevail.

    Take " www.bitchute.com "

BitChute is a video portal based on the BitTorrent protocol.
It is primarily used by video producers whose channels have been deleted or demonetized by established platforms like YouTube.

Well, let's say 99.99% of all self proclaimed 'producers' and 'beatmakers' were made utterly redundant along with the midi pack charlatans. Who would shed a tear? Who might benefit from this culling of mediocre crud?

    I like the idea.
But, i'm afraid the toilets are blocked...
I'm trying to impose two days without internet per week on myself, which is really not easy to stick to.

AI is garbage as well as 95% of so-called producers who in my opinion, as a performing musician of over 65 years, they now F*ck up the sound make the recordings sound so artificial, nothing that can be replicated live without tons of gear, backing tracks etc.. It makes performers lazy, stupid and fake. The majority of musicians that I did sessions with were seasoned performers and have the same opinions on overproduced recording, we all had our own personal and individual sound which is the reason why we were hired in the first place.

ChatGPT steals song lyrics: GEMA wins against OpenAI in court

Because ChatGPT knows the lyrics to nine well-known songs, the Munich Regional Court has ruled that it infringes copyright. The verdict could have far-reaching consequences.

The Munich Regional Court has put the brakes on AI market leader OpenAI and its flagship product ChatGPT. The US corporation's use of song lyrics violates copyright law, according to the judges. They largely upheld a lawsuit filed by the German collecting society GEMA, which specifically sued over nine songs – including well-known titles such as "Männer" by Herbert Grönemeyer, "Über den Wolken" by Reinhard Mey, "In der Weihnachtsbäckerei" by Rolf Zuckowski, and "Atemlos," which, while primarily known in Helene Fischer's version, has lyrics by Kristina Bach. The ruling is not yet legally binding.

The lyrics were used to train ChatGPT and were returned exactly, or at least very closely, in response to simple queries to the system. The court interpreted this as proof that the lyrics had been stored in OpenAI's systems.

They trained their AIs on stolen material (including porn, wow: Meta Says the 2,400 'Adult Movies' They Torrented Were for Personal Use, Not Training AI :winker::disco:). The funny part is that at some point they have to raise the prices of subscriptions since now it is funded by investments. Stealing content and then charging subscription price, I don't know how aren't they get sued to the ground.

I love the musicians amongst us who complain about producers using computers and turn around and greedily download tens of thousands of dollars of cracked instrumental plugins telling themselves they are any better than the other "sample thieves".

At some point soon, AI will be able to crank out anything you are making or playing too. Wether it is orchestral scoring, making Blanco Brown sound like a white guy for a "country" hit, some lady who can't sing being Xania Monet getting million dollar deals, and anything else you can imagine.

The original question is valid, and if you think puffing up your music's importance in your own mind, and insulting others is going to help, good luck with that. Enjoy your day job.
