I saved all of the ilok license info before transferring the license… Would that have been enough? It just makes me sick to my stomach thinking about how this day actually came & I deleted those files… oh well.

It seems to me that no one will completely change the architecture now, rewrite the players, improve protection, 7 months have passed since I posted my shitty libraries, but everything on their website remains unchanged, activity after activity, then "Piano Celebration", then "25 years of VSL", then "Black Friday". Cracking often only increases popularity, not the other way around. XD

you need working ilok license that is in your account and you need it to be activated on your system.Synchrn player by r2r + vslemu will get info from ilok when it intract with ilok and then make the magic file.

 

I remember we had a little group here for situations like this. We contributed toward large purchases/bundles. But have not heard from them since pandemic.

 

You seem to have 6 duplicates.
Stripping away the vendor info, as we know who this is, and what it's for..
& I have given preference to R2R packages in this list as far as listing duplicates.

Yeah - I have a Google account just for that sort of thing, and I do tend to track what I archive, but I am unsure if I will be up on all the releases. . Hmm. I could make you an editor..

I would also be interested if anyone knows how to see a library's version number (?)
R2R lists it, but I don't know where it is hidden.

I figured that, but as I said there seem to be duplicates.
Going by that list it seems many gigs of duplicate libraries downloaded for no need.
I can only say that comparing the size of the .syvolume files of one pair was enough to convince me they were the same libraries, and as the R2R has version number listed and came later, i gave them preference.
I understand R2R often does not have the latest of things, but I am guessing in this case they are the same thing.
Maybe I am wrong, and those first 6 are somehow different than the v1.1 ?

I have a question, on sister site we got Big Bang Orchestra with different categories (winds, strings, choirs....) All versions are v1.1, are these legacy or part of the BBO v2 as found on VSL website, as a new user to VSL i'm still confused

 

The duplicates are all the "Prime" libraries. They are the same...it's just that one collection has the version numbers attached to them but they are in fact duplicates so I just deleted them and so there are in fact 28 unique libraries released so far and not 34 that are listed here.

 

You could technically buy the premium libraries then get a refund after 14 days from the day of purchase. Just make sure you generate a magic file from ilok before refunding.

 

U can always ask for a free trial at their email

 

I'm sure they are already fully aware that they have been cracked. I expect that policy to deleted by next week lol. You know they are in these threads reading and reporting back.

 

Quick question re. the magic files - when they're generated there is one for the main.syvolume file and the patches.syvolume file right?

Which one makes the library appear in the browser and which one provides the audio? Is it patches for the browser and main for the audio or vice versa? I just want to know as I'm pedantic about naming files correctly lol
