Hello people!
I just found this .bin in my files but when I mount it I can't open it. It's quite old but I know but I remember that sounded really good and the Chicago parts are ALSO great. Any help about how to open it or convert it to other format? I mounted it using Daemon tools and tried with Translator but looks empty.

Have you tried CDXtract?

 

Convert to ISO first, and then use an Ensoniq filesystem aware software to open it.

You will not be able to mount this in a useful way with most tools as Windows has no idea what to do with this even if you can get it to mount.

You are now in vintage sampler land, and need tools tailored to that, some of which will only recognize iso and not bin.

 

its Ensoniq format disk, use Awave Studio or TotalCommander plugin called Ensoniq FS (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ensoniqfs/files/ensoniqfs/EnsoniqFS-0.57-BETA/)

it doesn't support Ensoniq formats as far as I remember so doesn't Extreme Sample Converter

1. Read this NFO fully.
2. Uncompress files with WinRAR 3.0 or above.
3. Burn image or mount with Daemon Tools.
4. Convert with CDXtract and/or use with your fav sampler.

I couldn't extract it; it might be faulty. Perhaps someone else has a solution! CdXract and Chicken Systems Translator didn't work!

 

Tried all your advices guys, maybe the CD is simply empty or doesn`t work anymore..a bit strange coz isn't physical but who knows..
If anybody have another idea or can try it to make ti work.. THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE!!

 

do you have a ".cue" file side by side?
try freeware Alcohol portable https://www.alcohol-soft.com/alcohol_portable.php and mount the .cue file

if you're unlucky PM me, I grabbed all the files from the disk
they will be .efe files so you'll have to convert them yourself with Awave Studio
