Hi Ive just recently done it on my Pc. The first thing I done was used wonder share to partion my drive. I done ten gigs but I would say 20 if you want to be loading on programes.you can get leopard amd. get the iso disk that loads on from start up and when loaded you can then format the partioned disk to mac and then loads it on. It can be a nightmare. This is the one I used
    http://www.final4ever.com/vb/unix-mac-os/838776-hazard-10-6-6i-snow-leopard-10-6-7-pc-intel-amd.html.
Check hackintosh site for info. it does take time when you are first loading the disk and only add kets to whats needed for your pc.And dont check the update boxes. just the snow leopared. the pc I loaded it onto is acer aspire 5600
intel but like say you can load onto amd just click the right kets for the amd. Anyway I still love PC more :)was just for the sake of doing it :)

Get one for xmas Lol, those were the days!!!.......Hackintosh = too much bother.
I was looking into it for the same reason, for Logic. The thing is, you'll get osx
working (probably) and Logic running but then you'll want to add various plug ins
again (probably). Then sample libraries and any other stuff that you have on
your PC and take for granted........My personal opinion after giving it much consideration
is stick to PC or buy a Mac, but that's a whole other debate Lol

Just keep in mind -- Apple makes computers -- Apple developers wrote Mac OS specifically for Apple hardware, theres a distinct possibility that you may encounter some problems: loss of services, kernel panics, system lag, or other erroneous anomalies -- many variables involved -- just keep it mind before wiping your drive

That being said -- If I owned a PC -- It would be running Mac OS -- and if that didn't work, Ubuntu (Linux)

Yeah, I'd avoid Lion for awhile -- at least till you see your key Audio Tools meet compatibility
I have the OS here -- waiting to install -- but I don't see myself moving to lion anytime soon

hackint0sh.org has a lot of info for installing Mac Os on non-apple hardware. You cant just get an install disc and install it on any machine. Take a look for ISOs released on that site that correspond to the computer you have.

My experience with OS X is less good , it is simply less stable as Win 7 , sad but true.

e.g try to use Waldorf Largo with Studio one V2 :)

That has nothing to do with OS X stability. Largo is just badly programmed for OS X (or Studio Ones Au support).

Were you running Mac OS on a Mac (Apple Hardware) --- or are you trying to convince the OS that your PC box is a Mac ? As I said -- Mac OS was written for Apple hardware --- it is what it is. Go to the Apple store or mess with a friend's box and do some field testing -- you'll see what I mean (Apple store near me has a Studio workstation setup running Logic, Apogee interface, 8" monitors, and a USB/MIDI Keyboard -- all that's needed to demo the goods)

As far as individual SW incompatibilities go -- that is some everyday shit (comes and goes with all software on all platforms) There are a lot of variables that the developers need to consider and work with when coding these PlugIns/Software -- Developers are human and they miss things sometimes -- If you are using warez, then likely you have limited access to the provided HotFixes and Updates that are often distributed to address those issues. However, If you are a registered user -- I would suggest you contact the developer or support staff and report the errors. Another variable to consider is the potential inconsistencies that could arise from using Software designed to work on the Mac -- that is in reality a Hackintosh Box.

Truly -- my advice for anyone who's thinking about running Mac OS on a PC successfully (for everyday use) --- don't disappoint yourself (seriously) -- If you really want to use Mac OS, ebay your PC and grab a discounted refurb direct from Apple -- or better yet, keep your peripherals and get yourself a Mac Mini -- there are plenty of options -- At least this way you can get support (you can get AppleCare for a Apple refurb unit too -- so if anything goes wrong, free replace or repair -- this includes keyboard spills or the occasional dropped and broken mouse as well)

    >Were you running Mac OS on a Mac (Apple Hardware)

Yes I ahve a MacPro, a MacBookPro (100% legit software) Unibody and a PC.

OSX never ran as stable a the PC.

The funny thing was that even the cracked version of cubase with all cracked plugins is running more stable than my legit Macs

Wow -- sorry to hear that.
Can't say that I've experienced the same anomalies/deficiencies on the Mac -- nor the level of stability you've encountered on Win 7.
Well, at least you have something that works good enough to run on.
