Hi was hoping to try the new Waves L4 Ultramaximizer – Adaptive Limiter Plugin

with the latest r2r release it says it's supposed to allow updates of future plugins

unfortunately the L4 shows up as demo...
Is there a solution ? all plugs have licence except the L4 " (

DMG Limitless would fix your problem completely.

I have no idea how to fix a single plugin in any Waves bundle unless additional directions are supplied, usually. Almost always the newest individual Waves plugins in their bundle do not work for a couple of update versions while they work on it more. This is from every release Team. Sometimes it is even from Waves. The way they usually are fixed is waiting for another update of the entire bundle release.

 

The information provided by Team R2R does not mention that, and the patch needs to be updated for future releases.

Waves Ultimate 16 v25.09.29 Including V.R Patch WiN
WiN (Including V.R Patch) | October 2, 2025 | 11.2 GB

the "Waves L4 Ultramaximizer" is installed.

 

After install latest Waves R2R, I downloaded offline installer official from Waves with new L4 and install only L4 and apply R2R procediment again and all work perfect.

Did the exact same thing expecting it to work but no
on WIN 10 Ableton Live 12 no go for the L4 only

apparently if you use r2r's release all L4 limiter are in DEMO

 

I'm going to make a limiter plugin that turns all input into a square wave at full scale deflection. No one will be louder than me!

 

But that's going to be harsh as shit, you need to smooth it a bit. Maybe a lowpass filter that let's the fundamentals through and perhaps a little bit of the second fundamental. Then just blast blessed sine waves at full volume, mm-mmh!

 

latest R2R release of Waves is also keygen-based... new plugins are not guaranteed to work...

 

For v2.0 I'll add some extra processing that causes maximum intersample peaks above 0 dBFS. Gotta throw in something for the audio purists out there and generate upgrade revenue.
