I've got all their verbs and their delay unit and wonder if there's anything new I can't accomplish that I can't by using what I already have from them. Guess I'll have to try the demo myself though I suspect this will be superfluous to my needs.

P.S. Yea, it's got stuff going on. I'm a sucker for the fuckers...they get another fiddy from me. I suspect this won't be a send effect for my flow but rather finding itself on individual tracks or a buss.

    Valhalla never disappoints, my friend.

Supermassive was free, and they kept adding new algorithms non stop. Each algorithm would be its own plugin from another developer, but Valhalla just said "have fun, we love you"

Oh shit, here we go again...

Do I need another plugin? No. Do I need another reverb? Also a big no. Do I have enough time to dedicate to learning a new plugin? Noo.

Fuck... who's it by? Valhalla? Ah goddamnit. I already know I'm going to buy it without even bothering to try it out or read reviews or watch youtube clips about it. It's useless to resist.

    *sigh*

I'll be in my corner... puts on buying shoes and whips out the credit card...

But seriously, Valhalla is one of the few companies that've earned a solid trust for me that I can buy anything they come out and buy it without having to think or justify it somehow.

I tried the demo but every time I compare a reverb to Lexicon PCM, Lexicon wins again and again for me

I really want to give it a try, but at this point I'm really satisfied with my reverb and delay options. Never really crossed my mind that what I use isn't good enough. Even for vocals I have a hard time giving up my taped IRs for anything else. Even with all that in mind, I still want to try it. lmao

I am somebody who is not yet settled for a single or a few reverb plugin. What are your fav reverbs & delays?

Rather than my favorites, these are what I use most of the time:

    For vocals:
Reverb: HOFA IQ-Reverb with taped Lexicon IRs
Delay: UJAM UFX Delay or Sonimus DelaySon (free)

    For everything else:
Reverb: Teletone Silver Spring, UVI Bloom, UJAM UFX Reverb 2, Wave Alchemy Magic7 (free)
    Delay: UJAM UFX Delay

    Reasons for everything:
    - HOFA IQ-Reverb with taped Lexicon IRs: I just like how taped IRs sound on vocals. The plugin itself is also very powerful, sometimes even a little too powerful.
    - Teletone Silver Spring: great spring reverb selection, lots of great hybrid sounds with tons of character.
    - UVI Bloom: very lightweight and sounds incredible. One of the most natural reverbs I have ever listened to. Try it on piano, make it sound good, then activate serial or parallel and be amazed in how it can sound better. Then compare to other reverbs and be even more amazed. Sounds great on anything, sometimes I even use it after my Lexicon IRs.
    - UJAM UFX Reverb 2: excellent selection of reverbs with a great finisher section. Very cheap if you get the bundle. Similar to ValhallaVintageVerb.
    - Wave Alchemy Magic7: free, lush sounding, works wonders in smoothing out string sections. Did I say free?
    - UJAM UFX Delay: another excellent selection of delays, same deal as reverb 2. Great alternative to ValhallaDelay.
    - Sonimus DelaySon: again, free. Very low CPU usage. Nice tape sound. I use it mostly for widening purposes.

There are other reverbs I occasionally use, but I think that's enough already. 99% of my mixes will have these, period.

Reverb from the Future, if Preverb is Reverb from the past, or before the sound, surely Future Reverb is PostVerb, which is ahead of it's time

Exactly...I bought the dang thing though I needed it like a hole in my head. I tried it out and it's wholly worth the fiddy.

You can always create new algorithms and since our computers are better and better, its possible to make them more realistic then ever.

And i am mean its still only 50USD as far as i have seen. So you cant do anything wrong with it.

I've buy it to complete my Valhalla DSP collection ^^. It's got a really clean sound, lot of engines for reverb and echo.

I haven't play a lot with it (half an hour) but my first thought is : it's their best plug-in ever.

They're still the bosses in the reverb game...
