WARNING THIS IS 5 GIGABYTES it reminds me of the time Strezov Sampling released a free sampler library for Kontakt that was about this size, this was in the spring, and then by the midsummer, they drop this absolute thunderload of 80 gigabytes that was Diamond Jazz Orchestra… if spitfire does a similar thing I’m going to laugh… it’s even funnier because now we have a 25 gigabytes version which was made with the lite converter and because this is for the spitfire player, we can’t shrink this orchestra library…

It really took Spitfire THIS long to release a Discovery (free samples) version for SSO when BBC SO has had their Discovery version out there for roughly 4 years, while SSO is already cracked yet BBC SO is not. This is the silliest timeline of events ever

It seems a lot of people can't read or think. This is great news for all the people who want to stay legit or are just starting out. Lots of good free stuff these days, if I had this stuff 15 years ago I wouldn't have turned to piracy, it's simple as that. Makes me hopeful for a future where every single library has a free lite version.

I just think it's just really funny that it took SSO until now to drop a Discover pack when BBC SO dropped one a year after its release, but this would still combo well with SINE's Orchestral Tools and Project Sam's freebies if people are willing to stay out of piracy (and 5 gigs ain't small for a freebie)
