Hello.
Im cubase 14 user. Im using EW Space 2 IR Reverb. It Reverb is craked plugin so only supports VST 2.
Officially, Steinberg said Cubase 14 doens't support VST 2. Fortunately, I founded button of Cubase 14 which can support VST 2.

So I wonder if Steinberg(Cubase 15) and EastWest Sound(EW Spcae2) absolutely doens't support VST 2...
I tryed to find EW Space 2 which version of VST 3 but I couldn't find any imformation bout VST 3 even in official homepage.

I will not use Cubase 15 for now cuz that reason.
However, I wonder if someone who is use EW Space2 and Cubase 15, he won't use EW Space2 and Cubase 15 together.

I wanna know your opinions.

 

Couldn't you just use Bluecat Patchwork to load the VST2 copy into a VST3 wrapper? It might not allow that plugin to go to sleep/idle when it has no signal going into it. But you could save a preset into Patchwork that will load the VST2 copy.

I'd figure out a way to use the reverb, but if I couldn't; I would update the DAW instead of hanging on to one plugin. Especially a reverb. I have like 50 of them.

Cubase 15 works natively with VST 2 x64
Cubase 15 doesn’t works natively with VST 2 x86 - in this case use JBridge

 

cubase 15 still supports x64 VST2 plugins... you just have to enable them in the plugin manager...

TIL this is not true on Apple Silicon, but that's an Apple issue and not a Steinberg issue.
