I'm trying to go from a cracked version of Omnisphere 2 to 3. I am at the last step where I'm supposed to go into offline mode copy and paste the challenge code into the Keygen to receive the activation code, but when I paste the activation code and restart the application it just asks for it again. I tried re-deleting the older patches of Omnisphere-the vst's-and deleting the older licenses-the Audio.dat files-Then re-downloading the instances, but I've still had no luck with getting the code to work. If anyone could help that would be much appreciated since it's been a while since I've done this.

I followed that threads instructions. I will do them again since there must be something I'm missing. I have the updated library so I installed the 50 so GB STEAM folder, and it extracted the files then put them in my steam folder (I'm on Windows btw). I also have the R2R network blocker installed. So when I launch Omnisphere I don't receive an error about a steam folder location or anything. It just keeps asking for the keygen activation code even though I'm putting it in. The only thing that I can think of is that I'm not deleting every last trace of the previous patch, but I'm genuinely not sure because I've done this a few times at this point.

 

Why don't you stay offline from beginning to end? Also, did you install the core Library or did you copy them and replaced the old files? Another thing, Omnisphere tries to install in Program Files, instead of Spectrasonics path in Documents and ProgramData. What was the path of Omnisphere 2?

 

If I remember right, info says you have to activate via standalone version.

 

Also if you are grabbing the challenge code from url the chances are its changed % into %25 - just replace %25 with %. I cant remember where you get a nicer formatted code from

 

You must be careful, follow the instructions in the R2R NFO strictly, and install the latest dedicated witched Runtime. Everything works perfectly, R2R Omnisphere 3 is a masterpiece.

 

Thank you so much, Omnisphere was downloading to program files instead of program data like you said. Once I did it all over again and downloaded it to Program Data it finally worked. I will be enjoying this masterpiece now. Much appreciated to everyone who stopped to help.

 

Make certain that you have selected the correct portion of code from the browser windows for the keygen challenge. The keygen will generate a response code regardless if the challenge code is correct or not from my experience.

As I mentioned in my first reply, the Library provided by Hidera was used which contains Windows & macOS installers for the Core Library. I installed this first then, the plugin installer provided by R2R. Run the standalone to register. Not the plugin.
