Maybe now that the Official 2025 Gong™ has been officially released as being similar Kong company release as last time; we might use this digital space and get back to other more pressing matters in normal threads. Is that the hint? Or do you think there is more Halloween Season related things incoming? It seems the thread has now turned into a pumpkin. That ship has sailed.

 

If you can get the download trial i'm sure R2R also can do it.
Some vst's do not have public trials like audioease (If I remember correctly)

 

I didn’t really understand the first part,
but for the second part, I think the answer is at the beginning of the page. I heard the GONG is canceled for this year. It might be true, might not, but the one that R2R hyped a few months ago (the one he said would bring a monster) wasn’t just a piano or some regular stuff. I think it got canceled, but maybe it’ll happen around Christmas, or maybe not.
Maybe they just don’t want to release it, like with Sylenth 3, where they said they cracked it as soon as it came out, but the crack was simple and we were just promoting it...

In my opinion, this thread has lost the excitement we were all looking forward to, and right now we’ve kind of been let down by R2R. But hey, nobody knows what the future holds, and R2R always surprises us out of nowhere!

R2R system will worth it. I’m ok if gong will be postponed for next year (same as GTA VI)

Demo sounds amazing but no separate Neve channel strip and AMS RMX16 plugins? what a pitty.

 

We should keep an eye on the fact that R2R is building a new software environment. Probably the Gong will be late until the system is 100% reliable. New releases are already using a fraction of the system which is the network block runtime. I got huge expectations, not about any plugin, but about the way things are going to be built from this team since the R2R2SYSTEM is working. We got nice things on the way and i think everyone will be happy.

 

Also a shame they don't get the channel strip and the reverb as fx out of the instrument. Indeed sounds very good.

c'mon guys, R2R are doing it for free. stop whining and be happy for the things we got - and not sad for the things we miss.

All I see on this thread is people moaning and bitching.

IF and it a big IF, you are serious about making music and having a professional career
in audio production, all of the tools that you will ever need are already out there.

R2R owe you nothing - you own them everything.

You are entitled to nothing - if you want a certain app and you are serious then GO BUY IT.

Get a job, or if you are at school or college then a part time job, get your hands dirty and
do some actual graft in the real world. save up and BUY IT.

R2R gave us the gift this year - they cracked an app that was not previously cracked
AND they provided a tool so that legit library's can be cracked and shared.

How many users have shared a library? ZERO

So all you taker take takers tell me, exactly why would R2R want to spend 1000's of hours,
days and months of hard word only to be met with moaning, whiny entitlement?

Where is your gratitude for the 10,000 plus apps that they have cracked over the years,
where are your thanks, where is your respect?????

 

This was a short intro for a song I wrote using Kong for so those curious to hear the flavour and quality of the suite. It was just a one off for me to check it out and I dumped it afterwards. I'm playing deep frame drum and the tiny bells but the rest is Kong. It's not a packed arrangement, it's sparse with just a few instruments but I think it's a good example if someone were contemplating using it. It has a flavor. I am so fed up now waiting for this Gong. Have not done any music since it was announced. R2R is a huge disappointment in my life.

No matter how many people ever say all these great brainwashed sounding things about R2R, remember the famous line from the 80s movie Ferris Buellers Day Off. "You can't respect someone who kisses your @$$". It's all this kind of scene savior posts ever sound like. Don't tell us. Put up, or shut up. Go buy them some stuff.

If you want to yell at people about supplying things, why is the number ZERO? Oh, that's right. It's because you didn't give them anything either!
