Waves Ultimate is released by R2R and VR periodically, and they are a little bit different.

For example, VR's one uses Waves Central for install but R2R's doesn't, and so on...

Anyway... suddenly I began to wonder how many people prefer which one to another, and why? (This is not a serious question, just simple curiosity)

I love R2R and VR both teams, but generally I prefer R2R's. However I'm using VR's Waves release.

I don't know why exactly, but maybe because VR's one is released more frequently? What about you?

Yes, agree. Thing that get's me is I can never get Studioverse anymore no matter how I try. I'm logged in but still doesn't do it.

 

I have the Waves version from Team R2R, which automatically installs all available plugins.
I appreciate Team R2R for its stability and expertise. The VR version is also great; it's nice to have a choice.

 

Waves and Arturia are the only things is use from CE.VR all the others im going with R2R

I prefer to download ALL their plugins at once, already ready for use as soon as my plugin scan is complete. The drawback is obvious though, but I dont mind uninstalling and reinstalling new versions that come out.
