have used zebra2 on some productions before, and still use it sometimes. its good for plucks, bass.. etc.. pretty good synth plugin.

Ah please don't. It's not like I've been waiting for years now, and it's not like I've plumbed the depths of Z2 yet.

 

Try Zebralette 3 and you'll figure out what this will be capable of.

 

I heard that the new Zebra has more stripes and that they can be inverted both at the same time or as well as individually to create either a
completely black or white sound, or infinitely combine then to get that new "Grey" sound all the kids are talking about.

But that might be just a rumor because I read it on the internet.

Well I've heard a rumor that there're also new Zebra-Unicorn modes to colorize those neutral stripes in various ways, so you could be right. If so, that should appeal to the older, less nostalgic folks.

 

What do you make such a conclusion from?

I played with Zebralette 3 a fair bit, and along with Mok's Waverazor, it's the only synth that totally baffles me. I think the manual for Z3 will be a loooooooong read lol.

 

Don't try to use and read Meldaproduction manuals at any cost. You can take some serious damage

 

I have a feeling Zebra 3 will try and steal my diamonds even with possible arrival to the “museum”… I don’t know if I should just wait or what… already waiting on a new oscillator coming in ten days I had previously bought last summer, now I have more to anticipate…

 

I'm one of those rare psychos who think Melda plugins are actually very well designed lol.

That is after you've spent 6 months to 2 years bleeding from the anus trying to understand how they work.

 

How many years did I wait for this? I can't remember when I bought the offer, so I'll get Zebra 3 for free. I can't even remember what offer it was, hopefully u-he remembers... Besides that: I will never buy something from u-he again (and I bought many things). They said they will never make sales...
