Sora was probably promised to investors that it would become the next step for cinematography and video-making.
Therefore becoming very profitable.

Which would've been a very convincing prediction since the results were great.
But adoption never happened and these HQ videos never reached mainstream, they only tapped into memes, becoming the so called "AI slop" content.
OpenAI tried to profit by creating a social media platform like TikTok where they could run ads...
In the end, they're only making money thanks to the subscription model. Not the content itself.
