Hi! I have been working on installing and running the new Korg Software Pass Release, and have been having some trouble which I haven’t solved yet. I was hoping maybe if I made a thread over here someone could give me some advice to make it work for me. I’m running on a Mac with Os 10.15 Catalina, I had all the previous Korg Releases which all worked great, I deleted them all for the software pass when it got released yesterday though in hopes to run that and get the newer Korg programs (Collection 5 Specifically). The software pass installed fine and booted up fine, however when I use the Keygen copy the locking code and try to activate it with the serial number, it just loads forever, never finishing the activation. I have tried this with network, without network, and have even blocked the Korg Software pass connections using little Snitch as well as Terminal and I come across the same issue no matter what. When I turn my WiFi off, Software pass immediately says I’m disconnected from WiFi but I can activate anyway, however it still continues to load on and on never finishing the activation after I input the Activation Code from the Keygen. I’ve made sure I have no previous Korg releases, files or folders. I’ve restarted my computer a few times in hopes it would help it work correctly. If anyone has any ideas or advice I would be more than happy to hear! Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out, if I can’t get it solved I may have to just reinstall the previous releases one by one again

If you have logined in legit ID, logout and restart first.
Start offline authorization.
Use R2R keygen to register.

In the current version, you don't have to be offline to start offline authorization.
Anyway, if you can't start offline authorization, try disabling the network before starting Software Pass.

Latest KORG Collection license does not always activate all included products.
You should also activate older version of KORG Collection.

Yes I read that when I downloaded the release, which is why I included the info about me following the steps in my note. Thanks anyway..

 

This "sounds" like a anti-virus or file protection scheme at work. If there are these kinds of things running on your system, maybe try disabling them before running the keygen?

I thought it might be because I had little Snitch blocking the connection to Korg however when I switched the rule to allow connections the same thing happens, Software Pass asks for the activation code, I run the keygen insert the locking code, copy the activation code and paste it in. However when I continue on from there it just says “thank you your product is successfully registered in Korg Id” while a loading bar runs underneath it. When I open ARP Oddesey from R2R and try to register it the same thing happens with the software pass.

 

On the windows side trying to block network for the KSP is not enough. You have to make it think there is absolutely no network at all before it will default to offline reg mode. This involves completely disabling all network interfaces (physical and virtual) before running KSP. Probably something similar on the apple side as well... Try disabling ALL network interfaces (virtual and physical) and run the KSP again.

If you're prompted to go offline, go to your modem and unplug the network cable. Plug it back in after you're done.

 

Hello everyone, it doesn't work for me (macOS Sonoma). The Korg software pass seraches
through, but nothing happens.

Is the problem you’re having: when you enter the serial into software pass and it loads but doesn't go through to the screen with all the software instruments? If thats the case it’s probably working fine you just need to enter the activation serial, let it load for about 5-10 seconds then close out and open it back up, enter the next serial and repeat (which will create the licenses allowing the programs to activate). If thats not the problem, can you explain a little bit further? Hope this helps!

 

I’m having the same trouble, however when I relaunch the program to try your solution, I get the same locking code and end up generating the same key instead of a new one.

 

Which program are you trying to install? Please provide the full name.
Which KORG Software Pass do you have? Please provide the exact name and version number.
Are you using Windows or macOS?

 

I’m trying to install Korg Collection 6 via KORG Software Pass 1.3.9 on Windows 11. More specifically, I am just after trying to get TRITON v1.4.1

The locking code should stay the same, that’s normal, but with the keygen selecting a new product should generate a new serial. Is that what you mean?

 

Okay I figured it out, I installed all the included plugins/VSTs using the install all CMD and then installed software pass. It kept doing the same forever loading bar. However, opening up the plugin like Triton worked fine, didn’t ask for any serial or anything.

 

Thats just how it is, it loads forever never finishing. To activate all of the plugins make sure you enter every activation code for not just software pass 6 but also 5 and 4. Let it load for a few seconds after pressing activate and then close out of software pass, open it up, enter a new serial and repeat for all activations provided by Keygen.

 

The RET keygen doesn't work for me. I install the plugins (only VST3 form) then apply the RET keygen (run as admin) to authorise. It says "successfully registered" but when I open them in Ableton 12 they are in trial mode. Am I missing something? (windows 10)
