Exactly, i always get this question in my head that asks why such and such didn't got released, in the case of Acustica, PT and Opus... And then realized that teams are doing this because they are passionate about it, reverse engineering and challenging the big boys, it's a fun game really, they do not work for us and we don't get to ask for anything or question their method, just like us who start making music and never finish a track or post a YouTube Music video aiming to release a whole album in few months but ends up releasing one or two tracks, it's about passion, it's not a job or a task that has to be done... We must be grateful for teams who made Music Production affordable by changing the rules of the game.

 

R2R has already successfully cracked the entire iLok line for years. Pro Tools R2R is in their internal vault for over five years, as all the other softwares. Then, every year, based on their evaluations, they decide what to release publicly. If you pay attention, R2R always follows a logic, and I've personally learned to appreciate them a lot over the years. There are always questions, but there's usually a reason why R2R makes a decision. If OPUS was never released, it's probably because something went wrong, or other decisions were made. Liquidsonics was never fixed, and unfortunately, Seventh Heaven Pro, the most important Big Wave plugin, remains unusable after five years. It's a huge shame, but what can we do? There's always a reason behind the scene, which we don't know.

 

you mean collect cracked plugins, test them on random projects and never finish anything right?

R2R doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone, guys. What they’ve done so far is enough to last us all for another hundred years, and they’ll always remain legends. All this whining here looks really funny and pathetic. Besides, there are always things we don’t know. They’ve said that themselves, too.

 

I agree, just stating to whoever it was that there isn't always an explanation.

I use Seventh Heaven Pro all the time with no problems, what are you talking about brother? It's never given me an issue. Same release that's been out there for years.

There were some problems with the last release. You can see it if you go to the relevant thread. If I remember correctly: presets, volume levels, panning and parameters were buggy.
