Hi, I'm having trouble authorizing some kontakt libraries I got. I used the program add library but they still show demo version at the top.

I deleted native access app, is there something I'm missing? something i need to block?

Scene release Kontakt lib's are not copy protected therefore they dont need to be "authorized" per se. What DOES need to be cracked properly is the Kontakt sampler itself. Get BobDule's latest FULL VERSION, install, and apply the patch. DL the latest NativeAccesss.XML and place it correctly on the system. If you're using BobbyD's Kontakt and not a legit or warez version of Komplete or some other net dependent NI app you really dont need the NativeAccess app. You do need the XML file however and it should be the most up to date version you can find.

 

Ok, so I am running a legit version of the latest Kontakt 8. I should rephrase the authorization thing sorry. I load the library and ran add library for nicnt file but it still says demo mode. I have 3 libraries it says the same thing for. I have the latest version of the nativeaccess.xml. Ive run addlibrary again and still says demo.

 

Yeah, as @saccamano said, your issues is that you are running a legit host version of Kontakt 8, which is not open to libraries requiring authorization.

There are different ways around that, and while I'm on macOS, I used to run legit and k'd in parallel, but now don't even bother and just use the k'd version, (as NI ..well....)...

The host app/plug needs to be k'd in order to run other licensed libraries (ones not copy protected or buying into NI's scheme are in the clear for the most part if not for the all part etc) you have not paid for or own and whatnot.

 

same answer. get the bobdule version. There is no point in running a legit kontakt when you can use legit libraries as well as shared libries in the cracked version.
