It will be done with Tone2 R2R plugins too. So i think R2R can make VST2 to VST3 wrapper

Yes, what would that be good for? Only if your DAW does not have VST2 support anymore. I can't think of one. Or maybe in the x86 area?

Oh? Kinda strange to force users to abandon their bought VST2 plugins. Extra point for Reaper.....:winker:

That's not true, Studio One still has VST2 support, see attached image.

You yourself called up the "Kilohearts - kHs ONE VST" in Studio One, that is the 64-bit version, VST2.

VST3 wrappers for vst2 plugins are not new and have been around for a while. Cubase and Nuendo can be set to use both types so no need for wrappers. It has been proven that wrappers are not that efficient anyway. Cubase/Nuendo doesn't default x64 VST2 support enabled - you have to enable it specifically with the plugin management tool. Cubendo does NOT support 32bit vst's anymore and hasn't for quite some time.

In cubase or nuendo vst plugin managers there's a little VST2 button on the lower left of the tool that on new installs will NOT be activated. IF activated those daws will scan the system for any/all vst2 (x64) plugins it can find and list them for use in the daw. This can take a few minutes so standby...

Cubase still supports VST2; it just needs to be turned on in the VST Plug-in Manager.
