There’s obviously no keylogger in the keygen. The only reason that it shows up as a keylogger is that we need to insert the machine ID to generate the key, and the keygen needs that specific input so it can calculate a valid serial and license.
If he had run the keygen correctly with a machine ID to get a serial number, you would easily catch up his BS.

 

Most of the time I make any kind of comment about the low quality production videos on Youtube being nothing but clickbait; I usually point out how frequently the first sentence or two from the presenter as almost always being " None of these videos ever explain compression correctly. So here I am to tell you about compression". Instead of those influencer "hopefuls", this guy has "leveled up" with his game-changing plugin so much the industry had to form a conspiracy.

By "coding" another compressor that no-one is going to understand either.


Hopefully, he can just go from being "this guy" back to being "that guy" soon.

I've just used my VPN to connect to a German server. I have no ads on YouTube using FF.

You seem to be the only person experiencing this.
Saccamano, Crinklebumps and me have all reported using uBlock with FF/Chrome without the ad issue you are experiencing.

Are you using a different browser to FF or Chrome?

No, I'm not the only one this is happening to. I use my VPN very rarely, so it's not enabled when I want to post YouTube videos here in the forum, and I get ads. I'm pretty annoyed with YouTube monetizing everything and subjecting me to this nonsense advertising. You haven't said much about what YouTube is actually doing, and you don't even address the new business model.

It's just the way it is! I know I just need to turn on the VPN and select Albania to avoid the ads. I'll do that, too. I use the Opera browser because that's where my bookmarks are – Opera also has a free VPN.

 

YT has been incorporating ads for years. It's not an issue if you use a browser that works properly with an adblocker.

Opera appears to be the culprit.
Seems a bit of a faff to always have to VPN to Albania just to watch a YT vid, then turn it off again. You know you can easily export your bookmarks to a properly working browser?

Yes, because of the inconvenience, I also watch the ads and wait about 20 seconds until the skip button appears. The ads aren't on every YouTube video either. My Opera browser works, and I don't plan on switching. I already have two backup browsers installed: Firefox and LibreWolf with imported bookmarks that I can use anytime.

 

I've experienced the three of them. I can't prove the first measure of course, but it's very likely.
Also, Ublock Origin Lite developer (and other YT adblockers) discovered a way to bypass several of this measures. It caused to drop to almost a half the official YT view count from desktop PCs.
This is well documented.

It's currently a "cat and mouse" situation. Like doping. Or Acustica Audio plugins protection and R2R

No ads in Windows 11 OS itself, in both desktop and laptop.

No Ads in FF while browsing (Scriptsafe/uBlock/ClearURLs).

I subvert my Android devices away from Google/Samsung to regain control. Blocking all ads systemwide in my phone/tablets is one of the many perks of device subversion.

I do not like Ads/Tracking/For-Profit Data Collection/Facial Data Points/Biometric Logins/Meta & Google apologists.

 

We used to have to delete the filter list periodically in uBlock Origin when ads started appearing again. I did that a couple of weeks ago but that was the first time for many months, I thought this had been fixed but maybe not.

I've noticed a lot of people still having problems with you tube.

1) Download 'noscript' to your browser and then pm me.
2) I'll show you how to circumvent the blocks.

You'll need to do this trick though, every time you navigate away from you tube. It only takes a second or two to do however so


I wont say how to do it in here, because we all know they will close the loophole!

 

I'll add another Firefox plugin suggestion (that has been working fairly well for me) to the mix that automatically skips over (while the video is running) different sorts of adverstising and other 'irrelevances' to the main subject embedded within the video, itself, that some plugins like UBlock don't necessarily bother with or focus on:

Quite honestly, posting this kind of junk video here validates a trepidation on your part concerning the entire scene as a whole. Just looking at this video with even half a clue of how computers work indicates it's snake oil, and meant to be a complete rouse on the scene and instill vagueness and promote false flags. Those like yourself should just steer clear of the scene entirely and everything about it since it seems the thinking pattern behind posting junk like this in the first place indicates a complete lack of how the scene works and seeks to cast doubt on those that bring the eternal life to the software.

The guy does make a point in his video, wether he intended to or not. There really are people in this world who should stick to just buying stuff and never download anything from a alternative source. Not all of them are even boomers like some guy who takes two years of complaining about FFS before considering how such a website can determine visitors using VPN from others.

Anyone who has ever worked in IT support where many of the employees have been hired for reasons other than their IT skillsets are familiar with these scenarios. " I was just innocently reading my emails, I didn't click anything; and now my computer is bwoken!!". Some of them even manage to get hacked only downloading things from the Google and Apple App Stores.

For anyone else, that's why this whole keygen scare tactic clickbait guy is a joke. Skipping to the end of his video to see other "related YT videos" is only hidden from plain view, because no-one in their right mind is actually going to make it to the end of this guys BS diatribes.
