For preset search on sister site:
    - 80x0
    - 8000
    - 8080

All three will show different results of search, download them all before official release

Makes me wonder if they collaborated with Giulio Zausa, the guy behind rdpiano and jv880. He's been very active working on emulating Roland hardware.

Yes, he's part of TUS now.

Seems like it's been removed. Probably gave away details they didn't want to give away... ;)

I was looking for it too. I saw it when they 1st posted it but can't find it now. Maybe they took it down because ppl saw the .mid file and started talking about firmware. I dunno.

And come to think of if I remember correctly in the past their emulators have supported .mid files for firmware so it'll probably work as is downloaded from the web.

What's better; this or TUS' OsTIrus?

Given that "this" hasn't been released to *anybody* yet - who exactly are you asking?

Let's compare them to the hardware they're based on then, and/or the intro YTube vid for the Roland. Which is better? ;) Seems the hardware Virus TI is more recent.

Better is probably relative to if one wants an analog modeler or something more 'digital' and 'multi-engined' that maybe the OsTIrus offers.

The two might be very complimentary.

Also, what's the ETA of this TUS Roland?

Anyway, hats off to The Usual Suspects.

When it's ready, there is no official ETA, but given the talking I'd expect it to be released on restricted alpha VIP sometime within the next few weeks, depending on whatever the issues are to be worked out.

I figured as much and fair enough, thanks. 'It will be ready when it's ready.'

I picked up a jp8000 couple years ago
I was big on trance in the 90s and got it for the super saw
Dialling into it though it’s not just a one trick pony I can get all sorts out of it
I have lots of banks awaiting this
