Drop here talks, lectures, or speeches you found inspiring, worth listening to, or that taught you something valuable. Anything relevant to our forum topic but not silly youtube tutorials please more close to academic or in-depth format. Let’s build a collection of talks and lectures or even podcasts. Feel free to include a few words about why you liked it or anything else you want to share

I'll begin with two talks I heard today:

Sean Costello of Valhalla DSP speaks on reverb design

next is from Giulioz who made a Roland JV-880 emulation VSTi
he talks about hacking old DSP chips (thanks to @xorome for this one)

This one is a classic but contains information about the basics of digital audio which is always worth repeating.

Happy Interviews: Axel Hartmann (Full Interview)

We had a chat with Axel Hartmann — the go-to designer in the music industry for over 30 years. He is responsible for the design and ergonomics of an unparalleled number of notable products that includes some of the most remarkable electronic musical instruments of modern times.

Interview: Urs Heckmann, Howard Scarr and Viktor Weimer - Crack u-he sound designers

We were able to chat with the sound designer behind many of u-he's patches across their instrument range.
Howard Scarr is well known for his sound design and patch work being hired by Hans Zimmer for The Dark Knight. Viktor Weimer has been creating patches for the u-he range for some years, and Urs Heckmann of course is where the company takes its name and is the chief architect of their range.
