Since your PC connects to your phone hotspot and works with an Ethernet cable, the Wi-Fi hardware is fine. The issue is likely with your home Wi-Fi settings. Try forgetting the network and reconnecting, double-check the password, update your Wi-Fi drivers, and make sure your router’s 2.4GHz band is enabled. It’s also possible the internal Wi-Fi antenna was disconnected during the SSD install — ask the store to check that.

Well... Guys said it all. All i can say is trivial stuff like.. the router's wifi password is typically on the bottom side of the router. Make sure you are writing it correctly and that wifi is enabled on the router. There will be a led on the router indicating that the router is transmitting wifi signal. You can login to your router's settings via browser. If all works properly and you still fail to connect, you can ask your provider to remotely reset the router to its initial settings.
    Cheers

Why are you bumping these two and three year old threads? This isn't even the first one today.

Try reinstalling the WiFi driver, forgetting the saved network, and restarting both the modem and computer. If that fails, a full network reset on Windows usually fixes connection mismatches.

A lot of the times, when you see this from a new user; it's a spammer or Foster trying to make a low key post that will not get noticed while their first few posts are reviewed by moderator. So they just pull up an older thread. Most of the time though, the spammers will include some kind of link even the first post or two.
