Killing Joke came out with an EP about 2 years ago. I wonder if they're going to continue without Geordie or if that's it for the band.

Wanderer, what does your icon depict?

Anyway, here's an inspired something via a quick search.

Interesting comments under the video. A couple of examples:

I suffer from anxiety disorder. When my anxiety reach to the point that I feel Im gonna have a panic attack, listening to this strangely calms me down.

Same, I have Depression and Social Anxiety Disorder, this oddly calms me down for some reason, and I have no clue why.

My profile picture come from the cover of the Celestial Wanderer EP by the Black Metal band Hate Forest.

I dont know if it is modern artwork or an ancient stone carving (looks like one). I think it depicts a Scythian warrior (or someone from an earlier era) in his tomb. I like the aesthetics a lot. "One must think of death in the morning , in the evening and in fact, all day long" as is written in the Samurai handbook Hagakure.
Their was a truely magnificient t-shirt with this picture but, unfortunately, it is out of print.
Black Metal is an acquired taste. Once used to the gimmicks, there's a wealth of diversity into this genre. As I was involved in Punk and Noise Rock, I think BM is the logical evolution. A lot of BM is closer to Crust-Punk, Noise Rock, Death Rock/Post-Punk, than to heavy metal and boring technical / melodic subgenres (there is technical melodic boring black metal too).
April's fool day joke on the Metal Archives website three years ago was hilarious : https://www.metal-archives.com/news/view/id/288

The record which you've posted the youtube video is interesting. It sounds like a mix of Whitehouse and of of some of the most experimental tracks by the Virgin Prunes. I didnt know of this band. I dont listen to Harsh Noise anymore but I agree it often has calming virtues.
I find disturbing that they've used actual screams by mental patients. I mean, if they ask those people to be part of the project, that's great, but if they recorded them without notice, like one would sample a machine in a factory, I find it unacceptable. Mental patients are not just ill people, they're prisoners too. Prisoners subjected to torture, I would ad.
